From CNA to MSN: My Journey in Nursing - 22 years
Welcome to Sacred Musings, a space where I share reflections from the heart on love, life, caregiving, and the lessons that shape us into who we are. My hope is that these words bring comfort, perspective, and inspiration to anyone walking their own path of healing and growth.
What a journey it’s been! Looking back on the road from becoming a CNA to earning my MSN, I’m filled with gratitude, pride, and a deep sense of accomplishment.
It all started with a simple desire: to care for others. As a CNA, I learned the importance of compassion and hard work. Those early years shaped me teaching me the value of patience, the strength in empathy, and the resilience it takes to serve others.
From there, I worked my way through the challenges of becoming an RN. I faced long hours, self-doubt, and endless studying, but each step brought me closer to my dream. And now, with my MSN, I’ve reached a milestone I once thought was out of reach.
This hasn’t been an easy path. There were setbacks, sacrifices, and moments when I wondered if I could keep going. But my passion for nursing, the support of loved ones, and the belief that I could make a difference kept me moving forward.
To anyone on their own journey whether you’re just starting or in the thick of it know that every small step is progress. Your hard work and dedication will pay off.
